In the area

We are well placed for days out to:
Saint-Lô, Granville, Villedieu-les-Poeles, Mont-Saint-Michel, Bayeux, Coutances, the Viaduct de Souleuvre, Vire, La Chapelle-sur-Vire, St Malo, and the stunning west coast beaches.
For the adventurous there is bungy jumping, parachuting, kite surfing (when the wind is up), sailing, kayaking, golf, riding and rock climbing within a 1 hour drive.
For families there is the excellent swimming pool complex in Saint-Lô (15 minutes) and beautiful white sand beaches (near Granville).
In the village there is the riding school (3 years old +), a playground, tennis court and boules pitch. 5 minutes away there is La Chapelle-sur-Vire with its very large playground and towpath for walks and cycling. There are footpaths all around.
Locally, there are markets nearly every day. Normandy is famous for it’s apple and pork products, so try some local cider and dried ham, tripe or andouille.
