Gorgeous country retreat!

We stayed in Gite Poppy in Spring and it was just lovely. The area is filled with gorgeous daffodils and the grass was nice and green. The gite itself was in a fantastic area, not too far a drive from Mont St Michel and other towns such as St Lo, which has a great fresh food market on Saturdays.

The gite is in great condition, with everything you would need for a relaxing holiday week away. Inside the gite is warm and homely with good self-contained facilities and nice large beds. Books were provided in the living room, as well as an English skybox.

The gite is in a lovely stone building which is perfect for the countryside location, surrounded by cows and horses. The owners dogs were also fun to play with. Truly a great place to come for some time away from the city.

The hidden gem of Normandy!

Wow! We have no idea where to start? The gite was in a marvelous and quaint town of Moyon, just south of Saint Lo. We had visited the area to have easy access to D-Day memorial sites as well as beaches, and this was the perfect spot to do so. Not only did we do what we set out, but we found the area to be such an unbelievable and friendly place.

The gite itself was fantastic, with all of the amenities one could possibly need. It had a wonderful living room (big enough for a large family, so more than enough for us) with a flat screen TV, full-sized kitchen where we cooked most of our meals, and spacious bedrooms, all of which were very clean and tidy. The gite also had a small deck perfect for early evening cordials and beautiful horses running in the adjoining pasture.

The property owner was extremely helpful with suggestions on local events, as well as anything that we needed on site (without being overbearing, which was great). Overall, we highly recommend staying here, and I am sure we will be back!
